Farrants is closed so Irish or not, it’s time to raise a glass and celebrate St Patrick’s Day, we’ll see you at the end of the bar! Now where did I put the green food colouring?
St Paddys Day Stew
Ok, for steps 1 and 2, we’re cheating and it’s off to Waitrose to buy some ready made lamb stock but this is what we’re having for dinner tonight with the addition of some Pearl Barley to the stew and served with Soda Bread to mop up the delicious gravy. A hearty feast indeed (not to mention a decent stomach-liner for the night ahead!) Yum.
